X-TYPE UNITS ARE HIGH EFFICIENCY (OVER 85%) AND CAN SUPPLY FRESH PRECONDITIONED AIR TO A COMMON HALLWAY COMFORTABLY
Air may be free, but heating or cooling outdoor air is very expensive.
The Answer: BPE Energy Recovery Systems!
The Answer: BPE Energy Recovery Systems!
By using our new patented technologies, BPE is able to precondition fresh outdoor air to room temperature for your building, school, office, or home, substantially reduce your energy bill, and improve indoor air quality - all with reliable equipment that needs no maintenance typically for 15 years or more.
With a greater than 90% efficiency our products make the air virtually free again no matter what the temperature. BPE energy recovery improves indoor air quality (IAQ) while helping the environment!

The three temperature read outs shows what a BPE X-Type Heat exchanger will do when exhausting 71.4 °F air and pre-treating 28.0 °F outside air in a single pass to 67.8 °F incoming fresh air on a cold winter day!
Cold Fresh Outdoor Air = 28.0 °F
Fresh Outdoor Air = 67.8 °F
Room Air to be exhausted =71.4 °F
The high efficiency BPE X-Type direct counter flow heat exchanger will heat the 28.0 °F outside winter air to 67.8 °F, only using the heat from the exhausting 71.4 °F room air! In this example, only two high-efficiency inline fans (19 watts of electric power each) totalling of 38 watts and our very efficient heat exchanger were used to precondition the outdoor air. BPE performs all that heating with less energy than a 40 Watt lightbulb!
This is a new, groundbreaking and patented technology that can be effectively used to reduce heating and cooling bills and greatly improve indoor air quality.
Just like leaving the doors and windows open in cold or hot weather, ventilation can be very expensive. Many existing buildings lack the ability to heat and cool enough air to improve indoor air quality to acceptable modern standards without costing a fortune either in operational costs or retrofits.
