Two Net Zero Buildings - Hawaii vs. Block Island, RI

Klas Haglid, (PE,RA) President and CEO of Building Performance Equipment, has been selected as one of this years featured speakers at the World Energy Engineering Congress in Chicago, IL. This is Mr. Haglid's 5th year of being a featured speaker at the renown event. The presentation will compare two Net Zero Buildings in extremely different climates - Hawaii and Rhode Island. Although Net Zero buildings may be easier to achieve in Paradise, both locations were a great challenge, and each proved that Net Zero does not mean sacrificing quality of life.

BPE CEO Presentation at 2011 WEEC Monday, October 03, 2011
Building Performance Equipment's CEO and President, Klas Haglid, will be a featured speaker again at this year's World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC) in Chicago on October 13. The presentation, entitled "A&E Challenges for Net Zero Buildings - Hawaii vs. Block Island, RI," will compare the design approaches of two high-efficiency homes in drastically different climate zones. The presentation starts at 3:30pm and will be approximately 30 minutes long.
